I just get annoyed by these types of exchanges. Like the "we are a democracy, no we are a republic" argument. It gets so tiresome.

 I'm more interested in separating the bank from the state. Money is not the issue. 

 Well, if you'd like to be able to use it as a medium for exchange, then wouldn't it make sense that you could pay your taxes with it?

Granted, I'm not sure I like what I'm suggesting, but just thinking this through it would seem the Government would have to hold some? 

 No. 

 The US will be strong when individuals own the BTC. We don't need more Fed power. 

 The fed will never give up complete control, so them using what we want is at least a plus. We will also always need paper money or coins, I would be much happier if it was backed by something like bitcoin than oil or gold.
