I don't generally recommend Trezor anymore, but I still use the ones I had before I stopped promoting them (for now). That said, they do have Bitcoin only software and make self custody dead simple. It's better than having it hot while you learn @SeedSigner or something else if you choose to. 

 I have a Coldcard ready to go. 

 Cool, then you can probably take advantage of better seed generation techniques instead of trusting the manufacturer's entropy. I believe CC has the ability to use dice. SeedSigner does for sure.
