Filters are used to extract 'negativity' from certain flows. Often youll end up having to change/modify the filter because it get stucked by all the things you want to avoid and the result is that nothing more flows, because the 'negativity' is much bigger than what you would like to keep..

..what if a different concept of filter would be created?
Something that keeps just the constructive and positive behaviours, so to converge more flows into a bigger one that would enhance the 'good' instead of the 'bad', letting people able to focus on building more thanon breaking..

.. I am not sure what I am talking about.

Could use a bubble-up approach, maybe reputation / metric / positivity score? so all of the good stuff bubbles up over any negative stuff, then once sufficiently tuned and full you can pick a lower value under which you ignore/ filter-all the bad
 This indeed!

One day I had an idea for a new type of visual UX for a nostr client just like something you mentioned!

So like, every note is a bubble that can be inflated and the more it expands the more 'lighter' and up on the feed it goes, like a baloon 🎈, but since it would constantly lose 'air' it would need more engagement to stay up (more zap, reactions, comment). In this method notes would not trend statically for longer if they are not constantly promoted.

Imagine it like notes underwater that needs a push to not sink into the oblivion.. negative sinks, positivity raise to the top.
Maybe pass the event through a series of “categorisers” a func or something looking for various things, each tags the event on the way, and the compute the total by looking up the (current) numerical value assigned to that tag?
 err *all* tags sorry
Well not being able to even read code, I not sure I understand what you mean, but maybe someone else can 😅

Oops sorry, will add it to my todo list 🫡
Me neither, but good morning! ☕️🫂
This is a very rich thought! In my mind came a man or a woman, sitting in the hated, with a cigar and a shot of whiskey.
Oh this is a cool image.. 👀💜🫂
