Michael Lewis has been a fraud for a long time. People with first hand knowledge of his subjects despise him

I wrote this ten years ago, about a speech he gave at Princeton where he completely misrepresented the outcomes of a study to suit his desired narrative

He has never let the facts get in the way of a good story and admitted on TV some years back that his fact-checking was more "sense checking"

If only his work were labeled fiction, he'd be my favorite author
