Yall do realize that “BITCOIN WILL BE MADE IN THE USA!” is quite possibly the stupidest pandering ever, right?

#Bitcoin #Plebchain
 Yes. But that pandering works.
Kind wild that it would be so easy
 Unfortunately it does.
Get on it, should be made everywhere
I got my bitaxe fired today!
Wouldn't be the first time America took credit for something it didn't do.
I wonder if there’s a way to allow idiots to advertise that their #bitcoin is 100% AMERICAN MADE. Maybe it can be artisanal, organic, free-range, anti-biotic free, un-pasteurized, and union approved as well!
I want in on the premine. DMing you now.
Pandering yes, but if a bitcoin is mined here in the USA. Then couldn't you say it was made in the USA too?
Sure, you could - but Bitcoin’s border is the Internet. And Bitcoin exists to subvert the state. It is black market money for the base of the pyramid up. So saying this suggests a pathologically statist world view as well as a fundamental misunderstanding of #Bitcoin.

It implies that one is thinking about bitcoin as an industry that can be “owned” nationally in such a way that others cannot participate or competitors, or as something that can captured within a corporatists enclosure so that the faucet of its impact on society can be carefully throttled by the managerial class. Yet Bitcoin exists to DESTROY enclosures.
Statist..... I don't think I fit into that category.

It is my firm belief that humanity has not figured out any system which actually works yet. When that is finally invented I may become that. What it is, who the fuck knows. Until then I'm on the sidelines waiting for everyone else to figure their shit out.

For now I am just a debt slave hoping one day to become truly free from any system that seeks to keep enslaving us all. Trying to become fully free in my mind so that one day I may also be in body too. Just trying to survive now until i can discover how to thrive.

My response was more of a pondering of if he is actually right purely on a technicality. Nothing more and nothing less implied.
Oh wasn’t suggesting that YOU were a statist at all. I got the whole gist of your question, and it’s a good one on technicality. Which is why “Yes, you could” was the opening, but everything after that was my real answer to why what is technically correct, to me, implies deeper misunderstandings and logical flaws.
It's possible, most of the hash is already here. Just need the Asic manufacturing and more cheap subsidized power for mining. It's the same play as El Salvador, attract the Bitcoiners by unleashing Bitcoin, fail to extort them, lose control. Bitcoin wins.
 FAIL TO EXTORT THEM…
