Just heard about the car, at LAST, that it will probably be ready this coming Tuesday. All I need now is to know how much it will cost - probably thousands. (There is, he says, more work to be done on it because the heater pipes are blocked but, thankfully, he realises that would add another week to our wait.)

@bade302b so sorry this seems to keep escalating. This was hubby's impulse purchase car, right? Maybe the mechanic could sell it for you, take it his fee, and give you the rest.
