we stayed at Madewood. it's not a B&B any more, the owner decided to retire, and sold it to someone who has taken it private.

Madewood had an elderly black gardener living in an old cabin on the site. said he was 7th generation, or something. his ancestors had lived in the same place since the early 1800s.
