I think it's very telling when certain groups cannot be made fun of. It shows that we perceive them as different than the rest. We should 100% be able to ridicule the ridiculous. 

We should be able to differentiate between people who happen to be trans, and people who are completely unhinged. For example, a trans woman like Blair White compared to the GameStop "it's ma'am" dude.

It's sad to see how many people will go against their intuitions, and walk on eggshells when approaching certain subjects. 

 we should embrace our differences, because if we were all the same that would be fucking boring. however, what each person needs to feel as like they belong is also different from the next.
