A few weeks ago I thought I smelled propane/gas in a customer's crawlspace while running lines. I told her and she was pretty sure there were no propane lines in the crawl. Anyhow, she came into the office today to say thank you, there was indeed a leak. 

TLDR: If you smell something, say something.

I think I'll take that advice and point out everything I smell next time I mine fiat. 😃 

 A house relatively near me, blew up a couple of years ago because of a leak.  Luckily there was nobody home, but the house was blown to smithereens.
