Deer season opens tomorrow. Took my single shot 12 gauge out of the back truck seat, and put the 30-30 in it's place. https://image.nostr.build/1e644001b4cc8b44b04b92abace0fa6f6b41e0c5c0e35b03449e4633ac5828ed.jpg Marlin 336 with XS rail and Leupold Scout Scope #gunstr #grownostr
My god, that’s pretty!
Good luck.
🫡 May your freezer soon be full!
That's the problem. It's already filled to the brim. We just butchered a steer. I'll have to make some room, or give away some meat, or make biltong.
What a beautiful problem to have 😅 May you feast abundantly, share richly, and do flavorful airdrying for the rest 🫂😉
Very nice! Just out of curiosity. Can you please explain the benefits if having a single shot 12 gauge shotgun vs a tube / magazine fed pump-action or semi-auto shotgun?
It's simple to load and unload. It's versatile. I carry a pouch of assorted shotgun shells, bird shot for small game, no. 4 buckshot for coyotes and armadillos, 00 buckshot for social occasions, and a chamber adapter so I can shoot .22 lr. And, very importantly, it's cheap, so I don't care if it gets banged around in the truck.
Excellent choice. for me, it's the .444 https://m.primal.net/MXVm.jpg
Very nice
good luck tomorrow. what's the eye relief on that scope!?
Intermediate eye relief, something like 12 to 14 inches
