Leadership matters much more at a State/County/Local level.
There are coattails. A Trump vote buys time to hopefully move the needle in the right direction. Judicial appointments. Supreme Court appointments. The 2A. Not taxing in earned income. Not helping Liz Warren Maybe preventing a CBDC. The 2 sides are not then same. I’d rather have a Rand Paul or a Thomas Massie. But here we are. Would El Salvador be better off without a Bukele?
