 The White House is not pleased over French President Emmanuel Macron’s decision to invite a representative of Russia’s government to attend next month’s celebration of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day invasion, two administration officials told POLITICO. 
 It is worth noting that Macron has previously dropped his drive to seek conciliation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and in recent months, he has even increased his anti-Russian rhetoric. However, Macron has not ruled out sending ground troops to Ukraine to support Kyiv
