Publishing your gerber files so others can make PCBs... not good enough. You need to publish the files that generated those gerber files so others can make modifications to the board design. As it should be

 Also, if you restrict people's rights, such as "nobody in such and such country can use this project" or "you can only make this for personal use"... not #OpenSource.

It's about protecting the users' #freedom, and @oshwassociation@mastodon.social seriously goes to bat for those users.
