My friend the deformed possum has returned. Evidently he wasn't the beheaded one from the other day. I managed to get a closer look at his paws and it seems (after looking at some examples online) that his "thumb" looks normal but otherwise he's missing the ends of his fingers. To me, and I'm not an expert, he seems a little on the small side so perhaps not yet full grown, but the only explanation I can think of is frostbite last winter...?

I took some closeup pics and a video while he was eating the cats' food. He seemed a little leery of me but kept right on eating as if I posed no threat, which was kinda neat.
