 It can be deactivated unless they have included something new but it is more convenient to use for example Librewolf which is already telemetry free.

 Thanks, it looks like Librewolf is a solid replacement. Finding and turning off all the telemetry in Firefox is a pain, so I'm glad there's a better option. I was aware of Brave but it always seemed a little sketchy to me.

 Brave seems sketchy to me. With all the ads being served on the home screen.

I shoukd stop using firefox. Just been my default for years.

 I agree. I just wish that Librewolf would not by default forget your browsing history when you close it. The people who need the feature know know to turn it on, but it is confusing to normies who would think it is a bug.
