Soaplands as in the prostitution is illegal, so yeah cabarets are more common because they actually are legitimate businesses.

All I'm saying is that I'd go to a maid cafe because I think those are a funny concept.  But I wouldn't go to a cabaret because my pride is too high to pay to talk to a hostess and 100% I'm too awkward to talk to someone I'm not actually friends with.  But in any case if you are married you shouldn't be going to a cabaret to talk to a hostess or host.  But for some reason that's not viewed in the same way as cheating.

I like them for that as well, and they make better video games.  :cirno_smile:  Japan is like an amusement park, I wouldn't want to live in one.
