Indeed, it’s surprising that #PavelDurov would have put himself in a situation of being arrested in France while an arrest warrant was issue on him.
Also, did you know that Durov is a 2017 Young Global Leader from the #WEF? While I don’t believe that all past YGLs are working for the interests of the #WEF, it’s interesting to note that Durov deleted a past tweet congratulating #Macron (a former YGL) for winning the French presidency.
So, was Durov arrest planned to justify the handling of Telegram users’ data to governments?

You don't join the WEF Young Global Leaders, they just select you and many people have demanded that they be removed. I don't know whether that 2nd tweet is real but I can't find it on reverse image search. Considering the large number of coal posts about the WEF it seems unlikely that this wouldn't have been screen shot and shared a billion times if real between 2017 and now.
I don't even like telegram and tell people they probably shouldn't use it but this is the 2nd time in about a month that I've basically had to defend Durov from ridiculous conspiracies. First it was that he's a Russian asset depite losing billions being forced to liquidate companies because he wouldn't give up data to the Russians and now it's that he's a western asset, despite being arrested by a western power and probably about to be dumped in a dark hole for a decade or two. How "logically minded" is that?
