Maybe the trick to raising consumer concern about censorship is to remind them that their access to unapproved content is being restricted? Then again maybe that would only condition them to accept censorship?

I sometimes visit Facebook because the 70+ year-olds in my HAM Radio club won't post info I need anywhere else.

They know Facebook censors, but don't' care. They say "Welp. Ya just gotta watch what you say". They accept it like Zoomers.
they would have to care about lacking access to the unapproved content

a way to reverse thing would be to good the censorship complex into banning something popular, over and over again

they villify something first then ban it when the people leave it, so this way nobody ever craves "unapproved" content
