If there was a story going around that I was gifted a chunk of bitcoin, I’d have certainly “lost it” along the way, but that does sound familiar. Just looked through his Bitcoin tweets, and there is very limited history before this year.

He was at btc Nashville conference... Right before that I'd suggested he may be a good one to onboard on here... He kept on saying crypto at the btc convention though. But he is coming along .

I should have one I have zapped before. But I had an issue zapping someone today, perhaps I have some technical issue

No apologies needed, we all started somewhere, good luck. Primal.net has a wallet integrated, and transferring some zapping sats is quite easy.
After poking around some more, I figured out that I needed to put my lightning adress into my profile on primal. Since I could zap others I was assuming receiving works as well
- in any case some lesson learned and thanks for letting me know.
