Parents of Nostr, any shows you have found for your little ones that have 0% BS (wokeness, fear spreading, misinformation, guilt trips, maddening overstimulation and alien voices) in them and are still fun?
The ones we like: Peppa Pig, Paddington, Franklin.
The ones we don’t play in our home: Sesame Street, Daniel Tiger, Blippi, Cocomelon and many, many others.
They start the brain numbing very, very early. Let’s just say there’s a big opportunity in freedom maximalist kid shows. 🌟

Bluey is pretty good.
Old school Sesame Street, before Elmo, is still viable.
You had me at “before Elmo”. 🙌🏻
Oh oh oh!
Mr. Roger's neighborhood! Duh. That's the best!
Tuttle Twins is good
I had seen the books but was unaware of the show. Thank you!
You need a free account through Angel studios, and there are a handful of other shows available we have not yet watched. Young King David is one
Angel Studios is good. We picked up a Minno account as well which has a ton of Christian kids shows on it.
So far I've been fine with Ms. Rachel and I think Bluey? Definitely no Cocomelon.
I just put on classical music concerts and ballets. Occasionally some instrumental jazz concerts. Essentially any performing arts that have no speaking aspects. My toddler loves it. No cartoons in this house.
Not sure if these are dated now, but my kids loved Dinosaur Train and Octonauts when they were little.
These two were hits in our house, they have catchy songs.
My 4yo loves all things Ghibli Studio. Spirited away, Howl's moving castle, Tottoro, ... all of them.
Bear In The Big Blue House and Nanalan'
Also, "Guess How Much I Love You". I've been selective and tried stuff out
Check YouTube for Nazitübbies hahaha!!! Yeah it’s still up there, and definitely not for kids
My son loves “peekaboo kidz” (Dr Binocs). It’s viable but be always present to explain the biases to the kids. Numberblocks it’s doable too. I think the best part of numberblocks it’s show number as Pythagoras imagined, like blocks of something, making it visual. Besides those, always watch alongside kids. Thomas the Train, old generation (until 2019 if I’m not wrong), is doable too, but again, always watch and judge each episode accordingly.
Another point: we are not native English speakers, so, shows like coco melon and super simple and even blippi for toddlers when English is not your native tongue it helps a lot. At least until 2020 they were not so bad, I think.
Danny go! Videos are good to get energy out.
Bluey is mostly okay. Skip an occasional annoying episode.
I like these French classics:
“petit ours brun, cailloux and petit loup”
I’m not sure if they have English versions though.
