Buy $200 worth of #Bitcoin each week and everyone tells you how risky it is. Spend $200 each week for a bottle of alcohol in a club and people will give you fist bumps and tell you how good of a friend you are. Society programs you to be poor. You gotta find your own way.
If i bought bitcoin instead of bottles in the club around 2010...🥹
true story. Only that once you go to the club for two months even the bouncers wont remember your name.
"don't go"
Find new friends, those people are not your friends.
It’s worse than that. Blow $200/week on sports gambling (promoted & advertised by everyone on the planet right now) & you’re a playa. Buy BTC & your risk tolerance is through the roof in their eyes.
In the business book “great by choice” they highlight the most successful CEOs and businesses make decisions based on empirical evidence, discard conventional wisdom, and are willing to be iconoclasts when empirical data supports their conclusions. To me these general principles translate perfectly here. Cast aside what society trains you to do in favor of what the data says actually works.
Many friends took out loans to buy a car. They told me I’m dumb for taking out a loan to buy bitcoin.
