During WWI, a Canadian soldier called Aylmer Fisher once brought his own horse, Sophie, overseas to battle. Together, they survived numerous battles on the Western Front, earning a reputation for their incredible bravery. After the war, both Fisher and Sophie returned safely to Canada.
