Agree to disagree. Also I think there is very little “truth” in politics. I see nothing but bad ideas and non-solutions being proposed on both sides of the every issue. I think suggestions of price on controls are particularly bad, while tariffs are destructive and the implications of “Mass Deportation Now” are morally reprehensible. 

I am very much a free flows of capital, free flows of information, free flows of LABOR style capitalist (most people seem to want the first two but not the third). I think pretty much everyone has lost the plot and are getting ready to fight over communism versus fascism as if they aren’t both just totalitarian collectivism… 

 I don't understand how so many can't deduce  this. It's so clear.

 

 Politics is literally made up of the worst of the worst. This is exactly why you would never really have a true intellectual in those positions🤷 

 Intellectuals don't make good leaders. Global leadership is about power. You get power through strength. 

Intellectuals have their role... But it should never be in positions of power.
