non-hybrid EV tech is/was new to all the companies.

and ive never heard of batteries needing replacement, but also, if “200,000+ miles of frequent track use and hard driving” for a tesla is not long-lasting enough, then maybe your bar is too high.
Still never getting a goddamn Tesla.

And here’s where Toyota SUVs re-enter the conversation. Hard to kill them in under 300k-400k miles if you’re trying.

Admittedly, I’ve never driven a tesla. I’ve ridden in an S series and 3 series. Was impressed by the S series’ acceleration. But I’m not buying a battery powered vehicle so going further with test drives, etc. isn’t something I’m spending time on.

People will always have their opinions on cars, based on personal preferences, priorities, and ideals. To each their own.
i wouldn’t be surprised if we see the teslas hit 750k miles on the same battery.

definitely can not go wrong with the toyotas lasting a very very long while too. but that does cost soooooo much in gas!

cars are fun. we get passionate about them, for sure.
