Oddbean new post about login | logout My family is really going through it. In the last hour my puppy went through a full seizure. I was sitting upstairs with him trying to soothe him through the convulsions, just to have my youngest son make it past us and down the steps, then slip. When he stumbles its a warning and so I left my poor dog mid-seizure and ran down the steps in time to guide my son to the couch. He just had a full grand mal. It was about a minute long and he still is tremoring. I'm asking for your prayers.

Thank you to everybody who sent up prayers on my family's behalf. Puppy and my son are both sleeping. Both came out from their seizures okay, just tired and a bit disoriented at first. Letting them rest. These seizures are never easy to watch and I'm always afraid when they happen. 22/28 years my son's had them and I'm not used to them; 7/9 years for puppy- same thing. You think I'd be a pro by now. I sit with them, keep them from hurting themselves, and try to pray thorough my fears.
