When I was about 18 I looked in the mirror & said “you didn’t get to have a childhood. I’m giving you permission to have one now.” LoL I still have all the adult bullshit, genuine responsibilities to society etc, to deal with, but I think I’ve managed to live up to my commitment to myself. To allow myself that child like joy.🥰
