They aren't the same thing. No one has a problem with people supporting Palestine. Hamas is not Palestine and the IDF is not Israel. I am not fine with the actions of the IDF. But the broader point remains we are to be peace-markers. That implies not supporting those fighting a war of retribution. The Israelis don't follow Christ, but you and I do. It is a harder higher road but we must take it.
