You could say, he hasn't changed with the times. It's too difficult for him to ponder. He'd prefer to live with the mask of a system that doesn't exist. Pretending, because it would be an admittance that his entire career was a fake show, and performance.

He deserves credit for what he accomplished a long time ago. Give him a crystal ball in '95, he probably would have done more.

Perhaps, he was on the tale end of a Regan era presidency, and Bush Senior I think before too much damage was done. He performed though against that other guy he fought with, i forget this name. It was silly like a stage name.
