It's a creepy thing to realize when you see it first hand.
 I didn't begin to think about it until about 2 decades ago. 

 I always thought of it as normal because I've had that inner voice for most of my life. 

 That was my thinking as well. 
My immediate family members were all aware of inner dialogue as well.
