@872ab8e1 🚫Fetch+ 2, there's a hefty 😭$6,000 cost😭 🚫 https://arstechnica.com/cars/2023/09/haul-it-all-treks-latest-e-bike-offering-is-a-cargo-bike The battery SUZ, imo....just for one or two shopping and NO HILLS Its an electric power assist system (PAS) BUT the #japanese 🇯🇵Yamaha and others (🇯🇵Bridgestone 🇯🇵Panasonic) with the SAME PAS system COST about $1,000USD (146,000yen) Sept 25 2023 GREAT for local shopping or traveling (has big battery 😊😊😊 A PAS ebike removes the hills and the extra weight (kid in kid seat) 😉😉😉 https://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/111/128/002/519/832/548/original/93869b8d16321dd7.jpg https://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/111/128/002/697/085/348/original/653116e200568e9b.jpg https://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/111/128/002/860/910/755/original/8582f1363f14a353.jpg
@94ee12b4 @872ab8e1 @75960186 @c00472a4 @c7e4f55c My ebike cost $800 shipped right to me and can pull a little cargo trailer. It does everything I need a bike to do. It's my only means of ground transportation when I travel by boat. I use it to do all of my grocery shopping, see the sights, and take my pups for a ride.
@84896ee6 @872ab8e1 @75960186 @c00472a4 @c7e4f55c Sounds the same as the PAS (power assist system) the ebikes in #japan use #ebike I have had a 26in PAS ebike for like, oh, has it already been 12 years, a long time. But it's getting old, the 3 speed gears are broken and it's too big for me now, Im getting that 20in ebike I want to be closer to the ground and more importantly i eant those thick 2in tires The original PAS 26in ebikes in Japan ⭕was the thin tires, today more thicker choices https://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/111/128/281/456/833/811/original/3777d640045a3836.jpg
