Literally made a calendar block to install #macOSSonoma on all my machines. Because I'm THAT kind of nerd.
@e2d8748d That's ridiculous. That's like if someone waited for Windows 8.1 to be released and stayed up on release night to install it on their 8 PCs/tablets and 1 Windows Phone just to take a "Windows 8.1" picture with all the devices in it.

What kind of nerd.
@e2d8748d I just got my M2 MacBook Pro yesterday. Any recommendations for someone who hasn't used a Mac since the 2008 models?
@e2d8748d running the release on a Mac Studio and MBP, both M1 Max models. Everything is much improved from the betas of less than two weeks ago even.

@e2d8748d all of them? I'm wondering what I should make the final MacOS version on my 2020 Intel iMac as I doubt that they have been really focused on that generation since they went all Apple Silicon.
It's main role is as a dev machine, so emulation of Linux servers helps.
@e2d8748d You know the other kind of nerd, right? Sitting here at work on my windows laptop but using Screens on my iPad to remote into my Mac Studio to run an update…
@e2d8748d Which is, of course, preceded by a block to back up all your machines.
@e2d8748d Curious what software/calendar tool you use for blocking.
@e2d8748d Its smarter than yolo-ing 30 minutes before a meeting.
@e2d8748d It’s important to prepare the way, Christina.
