Must say, even as someone who admires Ancient Rome, I found myself rooting for Vercingetorix and the Celts throughout their many battles with the Romans.

His heroism against the most powerful foe on earth, and his ability to unite warring Celts for a common cause, is inspiring. https://image.nostr.build/70482cbe8ff258061eda653b098b22703ad788faa38a800027dde2c69878dba3.jpg https://image.nostr.build/c938d69904475de67317a1e12e2b34566fd6865ca80cc22799b16f00fbc69ffc.jpg https://image.nostr.build/cf3d45bc37f92b5a8d4bdc2351c00e904e74aaa181cbcd952adcf9cd4ac88113.jpg https://image.nostr.build/523617647950acc7cb9d72a82a3e282eba0fe8c3c404719205978ca7f9c29aa0.jpg nostr:note1hg7j2uv9zhed7axrpzk6dfff4hvuwf5danrgypqh9htyd08d9f6qw3d77x
Better to root for individuals than groups; successful groups eventually get co-opted by the morally weak (4th turning).
aw man, I just thought about Rome again.
Damn what a name. Definitely need to up my Celtic history.
