Yes, it does seem that way at first.
However, that is not what it is saying. Studying Thelema one comes to understand word choices and capitalization. The "W" is always capitalized. It is NOT lowercase, which would be the selfish "will." The capital "W" means "The Laws of God" or "Natural Law" meaning Do No Harm. If one is under The Law of Love, The Law of God then they can do whatever they wish because they are under the Law of Love, which means they will not harm any one as both people are of consensual age AND consenting to the exchange. As the definition of a Right is "Any action that does not imitate harm"
I hope that clarifies.
That is a lot of assumptions and relative interpretation. Someone who wants to commit a crime will never be swayed by your argument.
And if it takes that much reading into it, it'll never work well with stupid people.
"One is free to do whatever their will, as long as it does not infringe upon another" is far more simple, elegant, says all that that whole paged said and remains clear to those with lower IQ. -- It leaves nothing to be assumed or conviently misinterpreted.
I can see what you are saying. Yes most people do fall into the lazy category and they have lost their CARE for what is RIGHT.
The reasons why it is complicated is to weed out the weak because this knowledge in only reserved for the Strong (Men and Women who really want to be transformed to their Higher Self)
Regarding your last point. That is the 1st part of the idea but the 2 part is the MOST important and without the 2nd part the 1st part cannot be sustained, which is Number 5.
THIS IS WHY THIS DOCUMENT IS SO IMPORTANT. Love cannot exist without it being protected.
An action that causes no harm to any sentient being. The definition of law & morality.
