It's a DYOR thing. Germain is probably not wrong here.

- the near perfect orbit
- the rotation never showing us the dark side of the moon
- the size perfectly matches the sun from our view
- craters

And those aren't even the potentially controversial oddities.

Oh I agree that it is a lot to unpack. Its just what the fuck is it then?
Personally, I hope it's a gift to humanity as a shield to help protect us from our sun or once we figure out how, to establish a colony on the dark side of the moon (a better, smarter option than Mars in my opinion, IF the moon is safe).
I don't think it's safe and I don't think we're getting off earth. But then again, if they meant us harm, we wouldn't still be here, so idk
Its a bunch of details all added together that make it unbelievable. I started being like, "wtf" when I got to the craters all being the same depth. Then there was the things the astronauts that landed on it said. Moon music. They claimed there were structures - there are pictures showing structures, even though most such pictures have been edited. There was a 'channel b' which they were talking to NASA over that was apparently kept secret. Armstrong and Aldrin both said all sorts of crazy stuff later on about it.

But... It is indeed a DYOR thing. I didn't believe it before and I'm still not sure about some of these details, but I'm not gonna ignore it anymore.
