 Been reading FIRE movement books and am super pumped. I really like their emphasis on happiness and personalized solutions. I updated my long overdue personal budget and realized that I'm at 26% savings rate, not on FIRE but still a great start. Bitcoin will hopefully get me on the express path to FI. #FIREmovement #bitcoin

 Hi Rapscallion! I'm excited to hear you got hooked by #FIRE. It's such a rewarding path to go down.

How are things going for you now that it's been 2 months since this post? 

The beginning stages of working on #financialindependence are so exciting. The FIRE Movement was my main financial path from 2014 to 2024. It still is, but I recently went down the bitcoin rabbit hole so I've added some BTC to my portfolio.

I think if I was just starting off, I would allocate a higher % to BTC, but now that I'm fairly close to full FI using #IndexFunds, I'm cautiously adding BTC to help speed up the final leg of the journey and supercharge the future.

Have you increased your savings rate? What are your thoughts on Asset Allocation right now?
