Can the human eye distinguish between a photo captured by an iPhone with a 48MP camera and one captured by a Samsung mobile camera with 200MP? I don't believe the naked eye can perceive any difference. However, an experienced photographer/artist can list some differences. IDK. What do you think?
@425a31b8 MP is meaningless. They're very useful for doing pixel binning in low-light shots, but compression will offset any meaningful detail gain in normal shots.
@425a31b8 the optics in any phone aren't capable to capturing 48MP of details. Let alone 200MP. It's easy to save a JPEG to any size by just applying a fancy "AI powered" upscaling algorithm. It's just a scam to look good on spec sheets. Photographers use DLSRs with huge lenses over phones for a reason.
@425a31b8 I think I miss back when smartphones were used as small, still kind of somewhat minimal devices for looking things up and etc instead of becoming giant DSLR cameras with so many lenses they look more like a bee's hive sticking out so far that they no longer even fit comfortably in one's hand or in cases.

How much can I crop before it looks bad?
