we want feudalism, violence and war to stop
so we created LAW
 we created the magna carta
the UK treaties
then the constitution
the bill of rights
We didn’t create now, did we?
😂
but those laws were written after ownership was decided
so a lot of people feel that legal rights are time-honored. illegality
even though the constitution is more than 200 years old
many are still talking about indigenous rights
many are still talking about racial injustice
and the earnings gap between men and women

the fact is that slavery existed when the constitution was written
in many places women and blacks couldn't own property or vote

and we all agree these things were wrong. PERIOD
the question is: does that make a difference today?

if the distribution of wealth was wrong 250/500 years ago: does that make things unfair today?

do we really need to pierce that law and change things?
