After 8 days of sanding, I'm ready for putting on the oil, coach. I went from 36 grit, to 60, then 80, 100, 120 and, finally, 150. The missus vacuumed multiple times and then damp mopped twice. I'm sitting for a few minutes, with the heat pad on, before screwing up the courage to get up there and bend some more. https://static.noagendasocial.com/media_attachments/files/111/127/149/452/612/212/original/8cfa3917fb4dec9c.jpg https://static.noagendasocial.com/media_attachments/files/111/127/149/458/289/599/original/5e4e55e51628a6fe.jpg https://static.noagendasocial.com/media_attachments/files/111/127/151/237/850/187/original/3f73bf877784e953.jpg

And, I swear to God, in the 102 years since these floors were laid down, I don't think they've ever been properly sanded and re-stained; it seems as though generations of owners just did a light sand and then put darker shade after darker shade of stain down, over the years. I took literal grooves out of the walkway in the livingroom.
