No clue. I just like the idea atm. Sitting around. Quiet. Maybe a radio on. Under a tree. People fish in the canals not far from me, but that is always busy with joggers, walkers and riffraff lol
If you are rocking up to existing angers by the canal, be wary of ettiquite, they are quite protective of good spots.

If there was a nostr-based app where anglers could log their catches similar to the Fishbrain app that might pull some in. Fishbrain has a social aspect to it, but is mainly used to log: - Photos of catch - Species - Body of water - Time of day - Weather data - Length and Weight - Tackle used

You don't seem to have your lightning address in your bio atm, just fyi. In case you weren't aware, you are currently unzappable. Reckon you could make a bit with livestreaming it. Would be a nice quiet pleasant stream (pun unintended). You can do this on zap.stream although I don't know anything technical about actually doing it.
I just added my alby address, but I was meaning to lure in anglers (pun intended) if there was a nostr app for logging catches. I am not quite skilled enough to make something like this on my own, but I am more than interested to help build it!

Mackrel's a real healthy fish, great omegas there from the oil.
They're easy to catch compared to sea bass. Multiple hooks up the line, get four or 5 in one go.
