Ah I understand. My understanding is that if a new users only follows 1 person, lets say you, his WoT would be populated by your follows. He would trust your follows (and/or your follows’ follows depending on the settings). And so on when you add other follows. I guess the new user wouldn’t see the replyguy, as long as he uses a client that implements wot and that he doesnt follow someone who follows one of the replyguy bots
