#privacytechpro tip: it doesn't matter which privacy browser you install on ios, apple forces all third-party browsers to use safari's webkit rendering engine.

things are changing, but only in the eu...for now.

Curious, do you stick with Vanadium on Graphene?
for my main browser, yes vanadium and tor. it's okay to keep firefox on there too for the times you may need it (not optimal and threat model dependent ofc).
Nice, thanks. Yeah only a few sites so far where ive had issues with Vanadium, but generally its feeling solid so ive stuck with it
yeah, and much more secure. not sure if you know this, but sometimes you will need to enable javascript and refresh for some sites to work correctly, opsec threat model dependent ofc
I eventually figured that out thankfully. Security by default is more work, but way more peace of mind this way. I heard they are also working on ad blocking, which will be nice
 check out

https://nextdns.io/

you get a 7 day trial w/o even signing up. it's free for 300,000 querries per month so i recommend using an alias email over vpn or tor to sign up.

once you get your link, on grapheneos:

1. Go to Settings → Network & internet → Private DNS.
2. Select the Private DNS provider hostname option.
3. Enter (yournumber).dns.nextdns.io and hit Save.

I have been using bromite ad my primary browser but also keep vanadium and firefox
Sooooo Orbot + DDG to view robosats onionsite on iPhone is not great then?
it will not have the same privacy. hopefully apple will soon drop these shenanigans outside of the eu as well. highly recommend with an ios device using tor on desktop instead

Thanks for the rec! Feel like I tried that a year or so ago and it would never load. Maybe time to give it another shot. Def prefer desktop of course 🫡
