"Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination."

Looking forward to Stormlight Book 5.
I am so excited for Book 5! The series has been a masterwork thus far.
Hit me up when it comes out. I’m always looking for people to chat with about them. Feels somewhat anticlimactic to finish such an amazing book and then have no one to talk to about it.
Ooh if you want to chat about the books, I've got thoughts to discuss. Here ya go:

Is that series an on-going story? I’ve read Sanderson’s stand-alones (Warbreaker, Emperor’s Soul) and enjoyed them. Usually prefer to start a series if it’s all out/ the end is in sight.
The books are so long you might as well start now. For reference the audiobooks are something like 40-50 hours each if I recall correctly. It’ll take a while to get through them.
Those stand-alones you mentioned aren’t really stand-alones. They are important to the larger story (especially Warbreaker at this point at least). Any more info would be spoilers. My suggestion on the cosmere novels is start with Elantris (weakest Sanderson book in my opinion but still really good) and go in publication order so you can pick up one the little cameos and Easter eggs in the books. The rate that Sanderson releases books is insanely fast ( especially compared to GRRM) so you should have plenty to keep you occupied.
Most underrated book series out there!!!!
I've been playing a D&D campaign set in that world for a couple years now. I usually don't play character classes that have animal companions because I forget they exist (ADHD), and remembering that I have a spren has been incredibly difficult (: It's a fun world to play in though. Eventually I'll read the books...
you happen to read Realm of Elderlings?
Rereading book 4 in prep for 5.
