Problem is most people are fucking poor. You have to claw your way out of the banks and pretty much out of your country to appreciate what Bitcoin does for you. Put me in a group of expats and I am the orange pill. Put me in a group of normies and about all I can do is distract your girlfriend. If most people had disposable income to invest in emerging financial technology it would be nice to meet strangers. Not to mention the homeless who would sell a smartphone if it got them more drugs. I want to see a non custodial perhaps nostr based market platform that accepts lightning so people trying to work their way up in places like El Salvador can really benefit from Bitcoin. The lady selling street food or wool blankets deserves to benefit from Bitcoin more than the entitled pieces of shit that make up the belly of western society. Half of me is teaching them helps Bitcoin and the other half is they don’t deserve the help, Let them fail until they come kicking and screaming to Bitcoin.
