Talking about open and ethical way of using social media (Mastodon) is like talking about sobriety. People are getting angry, or annoyed because of their cognitive dissonance. ”How dare you say I use my Internet the wrong way!”

Someone even said to me on Bluesky that we should get rid of any content warning features, because (and I quote) ”People should just harden themselves against shit”.
