This means that you need to put in the work to make your content seen. That means you have to engage with people. You have to comment on their notes and make yourself known, so that you can be found and followed. Lastly, if you have a banger of a note, there's nothing wrong with boosting your own note to allow it to be seen by other Nostriches in other timezones.
Self boosting is self care.
Some hate it, but nearly everyone does it now.

Different clients call it a different thing, but yes repost, boost, retweet, etc.

Content discovery is a bit lacking, which has it's positives and negatives. I don't do it all of the time, but if it's a good note and I feel it needs more eyeballs, I'll do it. Most clients don't have ways to bring content forward since we don't have feed algorithms for the most part. We have to do the work.

If not 100% sure, I'd appreciate it if you forward this question to someone that may know; 2) Does the "User Reporting" in one platform (Damus, Primal, etc) carry over to other platforms and many relays? Or does the "User Reporting" need to be done for each platform/relays? 3) Impersonators and bots may cause some damage especially close to the USA general elections in November 2024, right? 1) yes that's really him. he hasn't used the account since he set it up. 2) reporting does carry over from one platform to the next, but it's all handled differently between them. some do nothing, some implement a web of trust and auto block or recommend blocking if all of your friends block that person. most don't do anything. i still report scammers and spammers just to help those clients that do. 3) report for clients that do something about it. a web of trust or WoT is how we can help combat these sorts fo things. some clients have WoT scores, but again not all do.
