Before the internet we still had plenty of misinformation, the only difference now is we get a *variety* of misinformation mixed in with bits of the truth.

Totally agree.. wonder how much of it is psyops too.
We have a shot to find credible info now. Pre-internet it was largely impossible.

Covid was a great example. I was able to figure that mess out over time by finding guys like John Ioannidis, Jay Bhattacharya, Michael Levit, Ivor Cummins, John Campbell, Vinay Parasad etc. Listening to them and looking into their data coupled with pre-Covid masking RCTs, Diamond Princess data, the CDC reports was enough to figures it out. Never could’ve found any of that without the internet. Complete paradigm shift.
Government is the ultimate purveyor of misinformation. That's the whole point of the 1st amendment.
Before the internet it was nearly impossible to detect the propaganda in our lives.
Now it's possible to do your own research to detect what the propaganda has been we grew up with.

Sadly, I don't know too many people caring to find out.
But I do appreciate I can now connect with likeminded people!
