No critic / fan / pundit can state why Marvel and DC comics' sales are abysmal despite the characters - Iron Man, Spider-Man, Batman, Superman - never being more famous and popular:
Comic book readers don't like faggot shit. Keep in mind most comic book fans consider themselves to be centrists or liberals, and even they can't abide that garbage.
The base of the comic book industry was white male nerds. That base loved comics because it made them the hero, they got to experience the highs and lows of their favorite characters.
The life of a young, white male nerd is not an easy one. And comics provided escapist relief and fun. Or at least they used to, but then the woke commies took over comics and the white male nerds were shat on by the very industry they were supporting.
So most walked away, and I do not blame them. Why would you pay for content that demonized you and shit on you? As a nerd you can get that for free from western society anyway.
