@120acc36 my dahlias are ones that the previous owners of my house planted, plus one that appeared somewhere I'm pretty sure no human would have planted it. I've relocated it and I'm pretty excited to see how well it tolerated that.

 @ad830989 I've found that dahlia set seed quite quickly, I've got a few self seeded dahlias which are quite pretty.
