Last night, we watched “The Heineken Kidnapping” movie. It was a really interesting case, especially for someone like me who enjoys detective and criminal stories. One quote that stood out to me at the end of the movie, said by Heineken himself, was: “You can have a lot of money or you can have a lot of friends. You cannot have both.” This quote really hit home for me because it shows how lonely getting wealthy can be… real friendships might get fewer as you make more money. Thoughts 💭? GM fam!

Many of my childhood friends became wealthy. Sometimes I don't understand how so many of us made it in the 1% self made. The probability of this happening was so low.
Interesante reflexión 🤔 no tengo ninguna de las dos cosas 😅 pero si actitudes extremas que han llevado a reflexionar. Aunque plantea un caso concreto, "mucho dinero vs. muchos amigos", que puede ser cierto. Pero no creo que sea por la propia naturaleza de ambos "productos". Sino porque se desprende del caso general que "mucho de cualquier cosa (material o inmaterial)" termina aislando. Ese mucho siempre termina desbalanceando hacia algún extremo... y ahí las cosas se pueden poner complicadas.
