humans contort themselves into uncomfortable practices so they can scale what they are doing. I’ve got a small sci-fi idea where humans build cities to facilitate the use of AI robots to navigate a simplified world and do work so everyone can have a life of leasure, but the result is that that the city is made for robots not for humans. Which is actually distressing and alienating to the humans. It’s a standard cog in the wheel idea. Bureaucracies do this as well with policies. Any standardization does this. And fundamentally it’s inhuman.
